Hi! Let me introduce myself
Who am I? What am I doing here?

Have you ever been told, “Maybe you should try just staying home!?”
Wait—what!? You can’t be serious… just stay home???
Yep, I’ve actually been told that by friends and family who love to tease me about how much I like to be gone and see the world.
Honestly, I just love to go, see, and experience new things. It’s fun, it brings me joy, and it sometimes annoys the heck out of my boyfriend—so bonus points for that!
My name is Sue, and I love to travel. Road trips, weekend trips, 7-day cruises, girls’ trips, couples’ trips, trips with kids, sister trips—you name it, I’m about it! I’m a mom of three grown children, and I’m in that sweet spot of life where my kids are on their own, self-sufficient, and my parents’ health is holding steady… so it’s a great time to travel.
Before you know it, I’ll be wanting to stay closer to home when grandkids come along someday, or when my parents need a bit more help in life—but until then… TRAVEL IT IS!
I’ll dig more into my travels—places, people, and adventures—in later blogs, but first I want to share one thing that has made my life so much easier when traveling: the right luggage. It makes a huge difference—how it rolls, how durable it is, and yes, some people love to express their personality with their luggage style. I’m a bit boring on that side with mine, but I love it and I’m so glad I finally bought it a while back.
I’ll drop a link below if you want to check it out for yourself (#CommissionEarned). It was very reasonably priced and came in a set of three, so you have all the sizes you need. (Not sure I’ve ever used the small one because I am in no way a light packer.) Okay—I have used it, but that was when I went on a cruise and knew my one bag was going to exceed the weight limit, so I had to travel with two suitcases.
If anyone has tips or tricks to help me become a lighter packer, I’m happy to hear them… but I really can’t see myself leaving any of my essentials at home! Still—please try to convince me with your tips and tricks!
Until next time—happy traveling!
